Compensation Snapshot
- Salary: $154,152.67 annually
- Hours of Work: 35 -hours per week
- Settlement Allowance: $22,378.25 annually
- Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
- Union Status: Excluded
- Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing management of the City's multi-year capital infrastructure and capital spending programs.
- Identify funding opportunities, prepare funding applications, and manage reporting requirements for government funding programs.
- Direct capital project planning, procurement, contract administration, design review, and project execution activities.
- Develop and oversee departmental operating and capital budgets while monitoring expenditures and financial performance.
- Provide strategic leadership to departmental staff through coaching, workforce planning, performance management, and operational oversight.
- Ensure regulatory compliance, stakeholder engagement, public communications, and reporting to Council, government agencies, and community partners.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and eligible for, or registered with, NAPEG.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive leadership experience in engineering, municipal infrastructure, public works, or capital project management.
- Experience overseeing infrastructure projects, budgets, procurement, and contract administration.
- Strong knowledge of municipal operations, asset management, funding programs, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven leadership, communication, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning abilities.
- Valid Driver's License required; PMP designation and Indigenous language skills are considered assets.
